A conglomeration of fragments

I am SO CLOSE TO DONE WITH THIS GODDAMN REPORT. So close.

All I need to do is one of the appendices, which is a table with the raw URLs for all my links, in case Word/pdf readers/etc messes up the links and they need to copy-paste the actual URL.

I probably could have got it done today, but also... no. I just. No. I can't. (For the record, spent almost five and a half hours on this stupid thing today. I am not surprised brain is Refusing To Do More, heh.)

At least it's pretty brainless work, so I should be able to do it tomorrow even if (when) I'm super tired. Gotta have a shower when I wake up, so I can't have my mid-morning nap, so I'll try and do it then! >: And then I'll be done. Doooone. I'm so looking forward to done.

All my meetings are doooone!!! We might have a team meetup in a month or so - once everything's in and people who have exams etc are done - but as far as the project goes? No! More! Meetings!!!

I haven't look at how much time I spent in meetings this semester yet, but I'm absolutely sure it's Too Fucking Much. (And yet probably less than last semester!)

Other than that I did like two hours of working on the stupid report, and I THINK I'm through the worst of the linking stuff and screencapping. I THINK. Hopefully I'm right! If I'm right it should be at least somewhat easier from now on! But we'll see. It's due Friday, but I want to get it done by Wednesday, since I have my second vaxx on Thursday, so I may be more or less out of it on Friday. Don't know for sure, but uh don't wanna assume I'm not and get caught out!

I squished TWO bugs today! One of them not even on my game!

The one for the uni project was just a very very stupid What Even Are You On Unity problem (the code was written so that something was made and added to a parent object in one step. Changing it to two steps fixed it. Why.), which does mean that it's not fixed FOR SURE, which is annoying. Why does the fix work? I don't know! It was in the docs, but there doesn't seem to be any logical reason that it shouldn't've worked the way it was originally implemented! So if it breaks again we're back at square one, 'I don't even know what's happening here'. :/

Second bug was in Realms of Magic! There was an update, and then some of the enemies were breaking the game, zooming around Way Too Fast. I squinted at it for a while and figured out what was probably broken, and then I put in a bug report and one of the devs got back to me pretty quickly and I WAS RIGHT. Obviously I couldn't actually FIX it, but I was able to find the bug, so I'm pretty pleased! :3

...aww shit, just looked out the window and it's light already. Welp. TIME FOR ME TO GO TO BED, whoops.

So today Mama did a dumb and left a window open. So of course Sushi knocked the screen out and went on An Adventure. Sigh. He's back now, but it was a few hours, which is. Annoying. Mama was pretty upset, too, so that's not great? But also you know. It happens. He's a butt like that.

Other than that... did a bugfix for the uni project. Tried another one, but haven't been able to figure it out yet. Also found a pretty big bug, so uh, that's. Something. No idea how to fix it, honestly, I haven't ever touched that part of the code, but if no one's taken it tomorrow I might as well try.

I think I'm not eating enough, which is annoying. My father's preferred dinnertime is kind of in the middle of when I have lunch and dinner left to my own devices, so adjusting is a pain. Gotta try, though! >:

The last Monday meeting! No more left! \o/

Other than that also spent an hour weeding through the issues and getting rid of stuff that never got closed despite being fixed/depreciated/etc., so we have uh. Less than half what we did this morning! It had gotten preeeeetty bad.

Also also went for a walk with Mama, which was nice! The wind was cold but otherwise a really nice day, so yeah! Saw a lot of really nice bottlebrushes, they're good again this year!

Played some more Realms of Magic, there's so much new stuff and it's so fun. Exploding undead sheep!!!!!

Actually made it to meeting! Good job me! Also did a task for the uni project, whee~ AND I managed to kick my ass into going outside and doing a bunch of gardening before I had to put the bin out, so. Yes. Oh and I made a doctor's appointment to get my meds refilled, so yeah. Productive day!

Sushi can apparently now get me with the murder claws through a hoodie AND a t-shirt, though, which sucks. And REALLY doesn't want to let me clip said claws. :/ Also the black chook is broody, but she's good natured about me feeling around under her and pulling out any actual eggs, so that's fine.

Nothing super interesting happened, though! My arm was kinda sore, mainly when Sushi decided to step on it. Little jerk.

Uni stuff happened! There was a meeting, and I did some work, blah blah. Same again today! Slept most of the day rather than being in a meeting but same diff, heh. Still not doing enough uni work hours, but this time mainly because moving between different tasks takes brain I don't often have, sigh. Thanks, brain. *eyerolls*

Anyway sleeps nao, yes. Sleeps are good.

Slept until 5pm, with a short interlude in the morning to feed the cats and let the chooks out!

Did get some uni work done, though not as much as I'd like and also most of it was fighting with git. Fucking merge conflicts fucking stacking I have had to deal with the same fucking merge conflicts three or four times now, every goddamn time I rebase. I hate it. So much. (Plus the fact that most of the goddamn merge resolution UI stuff is SHIT doesn't help at all. Ugh.)

Vaxx tomorrow! I'm excited for that, but not excited by potentially being laid flat for a day afterwards, hahaha. Still, it's finally here! My first dose! \o/

I'm actually up to date on uni work, what??? Of course, I still have a major task assigned for this week I haven't started, but that's because I'm waiting on the assets! Totally out of my hands! I did two tasks today, though, both of which were uh. CONSIDERABLY easier than expected. So my hours for the week are still super low which kinda sucks, but also what else can you do, right?

Anyway if I haven't got any assets after meeting tomorrow I'll ask for some different work to do instead. Not sure what I'll be asked to do but hey, doing something is better than nothing! And we're getting to the pointy end of semester, so yeaaah.

Other than that, in a totally unsurprising turn of events having eaten yesterday made it easier to eat today! I just had leftovers, because I got enough that that was viable. We'll see how tomorrow goes, I guess. Hopefully okay! I'm not starving at bedtime, though, so I'm definitely better equipped to do okay than I was a couple of days ago, though!

Other than that... I actually rearranged my wardrobe! And got rid of some things! Not a lot, but I did! I found a good little occasional table/mini coffee table when I went to get my meds a couple of weeks ago, so I've put it in the bottom of the wardrobe to add some shelves. So of course to do that I had to take everything out! So yeah. Might as well go through some things! And I found a few things I just... do not fit into any more, sigh. And some other stuff I'm never going to wear again so just why keep it! No reason, nope.

Anyway, slowly slowly things get more organised. My ONE good thing is that once something gets organised it tends to stay that way, at least until the organisation structure has to be dismantled. But getting it there is uh. It's a very very long process, sigh.
