A conglomeration of fragments

I am at A's place! I'm housesitting, as the family is going to visit her extended family over Christmas (even though none of them really want to, not even A. Is for A's Mama's benefit, so I guess she must be pretty awesome), and someone needs to feed the animals! Which is me. It's always kinda weird to be at someone's house when they're not home, but it's nice to be given the responsibility, too.

I've also been giving free run of A's eldest's external HDs to nab shit off, so. XD;; ( Talking about tv shit )

Delivered E's bikkies, today, though she wasn't home. .o/ That's done too yay!

Tomorrow is CHRISTMAS~! :D I have to a) get up early, b) drive back home, and then c) have an awesome day!* My present is really big, I really wanna know what's in iiiiit~ :x :x :x I hope my parents like their presents~ :x

Don't know what I spent most of my day doing, honestly. ¬¬;;

Have been sloooowly downloading DC; the one direct download I've found with decent .avi files takes. About 2.5 HOURS to download an ep. They're only ~250MB. (It seems to cap out at 30kbps, so.) =/ Found another place that's much faster, but they're seriously shrunk files, so they're tiny and not as nice to watch. =/ So, kind of been um-ing and ah-ing between them. (The torrent is at 0.15%, and is almost always not downloading at all, so. If anything does happen, it'll be SLOW.)

I think I'm going to try and download the better files - use the larger gap to make myself do something - but if it's, for example, the evening and I just want to watch a few episodes and knit/make pixels before bed, then download the small/quick files. (On the other hand, I kind of want to download a whole bunch of shit before the end of month downloads reset on the 3rd. Anyone got a different anime they'd rec, maybe?)

I ended up doing 10 pixels, today! :D Total is now 32. Out of 1935, siiigh. And out of 289 white ones. At least I'm more than 10% done with that? Tomorrow I'mma try and get to 45! Then I've just gotta do that 43 more times... *sigh*

Being transferring files over to Chell most of the day, too. Going to see if I leave it overnight my entire One Piece folder will transfer. Not sure if it will; it's a little 145GB all on its own, so uh. Yeaaah, might error out. BUT WE'LL GIVE IT A GO! >: Not like I'm gonna be doing anything to the computer while I'm asleep! (It's saying ~6 hours, right now, too. Will definitely be asleep that long! >:)

Didn't do much today, either. Did write some fic, though! Only ~500 words, but. Hey. Writing is good.

Played some 3D, did some translation, got my next rec post coded and into tumbles, FINALLY YAY - I've had to put the queue back to 2/day, because I can't keep with with 4/day AND work, blarghface. Though maybe that'd change if I was there long enough to get used to it; right now it's just TOO MANY THINGS IN MY BRAIN, if that makes sense.

Also I bought some games! :D I got directed to The Humble Indie Bundle 5, which is a pay-what-you-want pack, including Psychonaughts, which I've heard great things about, and Bastion, which Madb has been raving about, if you pay more than the average (currently less than $8USD!). So, awesome games, super cheap, DRM free with eternal dl links, Windows/Mac/Linux, if you pay more than a dollar you can download them through Steam, OSTs included... hard to say no to, given that I do have the money to get them. :3 Some of the costs go to charity, too, which is. Kinda amazing, really, heh. Anyway, I haven't managed to start any today - page, and also Sibling wanted essays looked at, and also Korra, and then Aqua's been REALLY SLOW, so I probably need to reset sometime soon. Have started shutting things down! Just need to get everything sorted. So, maybe will start one tomorrow after work. :3

...dun wanna go to work. Working is cruel. Why do we have to do it? (...this is exacerbated by my 8:30 start time and lack of the thing I'm SUPPOSED to do, but. You know. *siiiiigh*)

OKAY SO. I'm seriously considering just shoving all my music online somewhere so I can just push people towards it when I find out the don't have ___ holy shit. Good idea y/n?

Also, if yes, what kinda music you want me to upload first? Because I'm totally not uploading 30 gig at a stretch, not even I'm that stupid.
